Is there a free trial?

Yes, every download includes a 30-day Pro trial with the full feature set, no credit card required. When it ends, TypeNext drops to the Free tier automatically. You only subscribe when you're ready.

What's the difference between Plus and Pro?

Plus is the complete writing layer for one Mac. Pro adds the full catalog of larger local models, style personalization that learns from what you accept, priority support, early Labs features, and a licence for up to 3 Macs.

Do I need to pay OpenAI separately for voice?

Voice dictation runs on OpenAI's transcription using your own API key, so OpenAI bills you directly for usage, it's typically a few cents per hour of speech. TypeNext never stores your audio. Everything else (autocomplete, snippets, read-aloud) is fully on-device.

Can I cancel or get a refund?

You can cancel anytime; your plan stays active until the end of the period. If TypeNext isn't for you, contact us within 14 days of your first payment for a refund. See the Terms for details.

How many Macs does a subscription cover?

Plus covers 1 Mac and Pro covers up to 3, all for one person. A subscription is for a single user and isn't shared between people.
